Formally known as Sutton Subrang, Subrang Arts is a registered charity, a non profit making, voluntary cultural organisation dedicated to the promotion and development of Asian Art and Culture. 'Subrang’ means spectrum of colours and it represents the rich cultural heritage of the Asian Sub-continent. One of our objectives is to foster an appreciation and understanding of the rich and diverse heritage that originates from the Sub-Continent, and to help in maintaining its identity in a multicultural society in Sutton and the neighbouring Boroughs.

We believe that education and entertainment can be combined and to achieve this objective, we organise numerous musical and cultural events throughout the year. Bringing the Asian Arts to a wider community is not  our  only aim as we have also been running a very successful EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME. We run a School of Indian Dance, Music, Languages (Gujarati and Hindi) and YOGA. We cater for all ranges of ability and aptitude , from the complete beginner to the more advanced looking to extend their knowledge to higher levels. Our language students have achieved good successes in the GCSE examinations.
